hello. the lock/unlock button on the exterior door handle of our 2010 gt coupe has stopped functioning. i am looking to replace it. can anybody advise how the button works? is the button somehow coded to the key fob or is it just a dry contact that sends a signal to the main computer of the car to operate the lock? i am looking at buying a new handle to replace the one that is not working.
