So I searched. Here and Google, didn't hit on anything. :dunno:

So now I ask... has anyone done anything about the shifter and cup holder chrome trim?

I just am not a fan of it. The door handles I can take (for now... may get them powder coated) but this plastic chrome is my only gripe.

Does an online store sell a pre-cut vinyl to cover it? The vinyl pre-cut kits (the 20 pc or whatever) leave the chrome trim. Anyone painted it or wrapped it?

Any help would be great.

I also do not car for chrome what-so-ever, but since it is minor I have been overlooking it.

I agree. It sucks. But like Tufast said it's minor so I have accepted it. I may be wrong but I believe the door handles might be plastic too. I haven't been able to come up with a GOOD way to remove/cover it so I've had to let it go. BTW, the rspec has silver door handles instead of chrome. I was envious when I first saw this.

FYI The chrome on the door handles has been known to peel & cut fingers due to poor plating. Warranty up to 60k but sucks all the same.
