Wanted to add I heard directly from Brembo why the Brembo pads are cut down on the Genesis Coupe... their official stance on this is because they had to meet certain "noise requirements" established by Hyundai. Remember the car has to appeal to a wide ranging group of people and some of these buyers are the same people who are cross shopping G37's or BMWs... so they sacrificed some performance to make sure they met or exceeded requirements dictated to them by Hyundai.. now I don't know if these requirements were from HMA or from Hyundai Korea as sometimes the two didn't totally agree on things regarding the coupe (i'm tending to think this was from Hyundai Korea).

Just thought you all would like to know what I was able to find out.

This is good to know. I have been waiting to see if anyone will use the Evo pads to see if they notice an improvement, if they do fit. Is the noise that the non cut pads produce squeeking/grinding or what? I have never driven a Brembo braked car.

From looking at the Evo pads, I think with a little bit of fabricating/filing they'll fit with very little effort. I think there will be a dramatic improvement & I can't wait to do this mod, because this will be my 1st set of high end brakes as well. Yipeee!!!:jump:
