Very nice! 5.9 seconds 0-62 MPH, that is faster than the press release that was posted this morning. This on regular fuel, not premium.. With premium fuel and only accounting for 0-60, this could be easily be a mid 5 second car. I'm hoping the turbo coupe is also faster than what many are reporting.

Sweet performance numbers. I was a little concerned with the 6.5sec 0-62mph rating Hyundai gave the car.

Maybe this time they prefer to be underrated then overrated ! They learn the lesson

Yup, better to underate power than overrate like a few years ago with the Mazda RX8. People were really dissappointed with the power they were producing, I think eventually Mazda had to restate their claim of how much power the engine made from the factory.

Yeah I've been around long enough to remember the class action suit Hyundai suffered for over-rating their cars a few years back, we had to give an extention to the factory warrany as good-will gesture to an enormous number of customers to satisfy them. But in the end if you test drive & you're happy, well...

ya it is definately better to under rate. I can remember when some of the Mustang Cobra's where coming out and dynoing WAY under what Ford was rating them at. The HP rating of Ford just were not matching the 1/4 mile times and people were frigg'n pissed off. I think they were having to replace whole engines or replaced intakes etc.. it was kind of a debacle. Most companies have probably learned their lessons by now.
