I believe when they made this commercial the US production model was not here yet. The car they used was a pre-production model.

I read on adweek.com that the the edityourown website and the coupe information site didn't work when the commercial aired so lots of people never got to see the site. it started working later on during the game.

Bummer maybe the site just got overloaded or something... as long as it works now and as the commercial airs people should be able to use it, that's all that matters.
