Oh wow, look at that cat! I feel sorry for the stock turbo, and I know what my first mod would be! I'm fairly certain that the slight amount of lag that some of the reviews mentioned would completely disappear with a good high-flowing catless 02 housing/turbine outlet/dump tube/elbow/whatever you wanna call it. I haven't seen the stock dp, but the stock catback doesn't seem to be that well-flowing either, so I would imagine that the gains to be seen from a full 3" turboback would be significant.

Also, I love how direct and straight the FMIC piping is, the location is great. But I wonder why the piping and the FMIC itself seems to bottleneck down compared to both the compressor outlet and the TB? Clearance obviously isn't an issue... I guess Hyundai was just throwing the aftermarket a bone by giving us something else fairly obvious to upgrade, ha.

Cruiserdude, I agree & feel that Hyundai has made everything obvious on what to upgrade. I think they want us to go out & tell others how mod friendly this engine is & what ridiculous gains can be got with little effort. Word of mouth will sell alot of these things to the tuning community.

That would be really cool, I know we've got the same rear-mounted inlets, though our mounting brackets are vertical rather than the horizontal ones here, but that might not be so much of a problem. Still, the chances of the width being the same are slim, but not impossible. That'd be great for a serious freebie mod for a few of us!! :D
