Honestly, it's not uncommon for players to have many max-level characters. I know many people who have a max level character of each class, which would be 10 characters (or toons as we call 'em). I'm sure there's people who have many more. What makes this guy exceptional, if this is true, is that he claims to be playing 36 ACCOUNTS simultaenously AND completing raid content with them.
It's not unheard of for someone to play multiple characters simultaenously. I've even done it myself where I leveled 2 hunters for 15 levels using software that would mimic my key presses on both accounts. On my server, I've seen a few instances of someone using this method to control up to 5 characters of the same class. That's pretty impressive, IMO. However, I find it pretty hard to believe that anyone would invest in the hardware required to run 36 clients AND master a way to play multiple classes simultaneously and be able to do it with the skill required to complete end-game raid content. Keep in mind that the content is intended for up to 25 individual players (working as a team) to complete while still maintaining a reasonable degree of difficulty.
I know I'm necro'ing an old thread here... but as a "hardcore" wow player myself - I just think this whole story is B.S.
