I saw these pics last night on gencoupe.com. Any more info about it? specs? I wonder if we'll see the same turbo in the USDM car??

I searched google for TD04-04H and got nil, besides wrx and srt stuff talking about the td04 line and the 13g.

My first thoughs are about using the vf series of turbos from the subarus as well as the larger td05 as upgrades.

I really think once i design a dp for this, ill be upgrading to a gt30/35R, that is just TOO small lol.

Awesome turbo pics! I've been waiting to see some of these. Looks like for those going for the crazy HP, a turbo upgrade and manifold upgrade will definately be needed, but for a mild jump in power, i think the stocker should be ok, maybe 250-300 HP...

What ever turbo is on it initially will stay for a while. I'll do like a stage 1 upgrade after the 1st oil change, turn up the factory turbo & tune it, then see where I'm at 'til I can save enough to get what I want.

That turbo is very tiny, although it might be able to push 300hp, the older wrx had a similar size turbo's on their 2.0 and they maxed out right around 300hp, I'm no turbo expert but is that a BOV integrated on the turbo itself?
Yes according to the technical docs it seems the BOV is integrated into the compressor housing. The turbo is a td04 family but there are no exact specs on the wheel trims so its anyone's best guess as too how much HP we can squeeze out of the stock turbo.

My guesstimates say low 300whp (310-320) is going to be the max this little bugger can put out. Of course we will have to wait and see.

The stock Neon SRT-4 turbo was also from the Mitsu TD04 family. It also had a similar type of recirculating surge valve on the compressor housing and I'd bet they are interchangeable.

Interesting photos... I know there will be a standard bearing AGP Turbo delta 40 going on my car as soon as I can get my hands on a 2.0

Coming from a fully modd'ed SRT-4 be nice to be RWD again. The manifold/turbo combo are similar in housing to the SRT but way more restrictive. The Housing and Exhaust turbine look puny compared to the TD04 Turbofold combo on the 2.4 platform. TD05 should of come stock on the SRT... I bet there will be a factory kit avail shortly after (even a EVO X turbofold) would be a stepup if the head remains the same 4b11 to 4b11
