dboz1, Great find, I read the article & the comments. The article gave Hyundai props that they deserve, the comments on the other hand, were by a bunch of ignorant people who don't know any better. They haven't had the opportunity to drive a new Veracruz, SantaFe ,Azera, or Sonata, never the less, a Genesis, so they have no clue what Hyundai is about these days. Mark my words "Hyundai will be the next Toyota in less than 10yrs".

People just don't get it. When Honda first came to the US they were total rust buckets. I know a guy with 210k on his Santa Fe. It seems that there is a quicker track record for HYUNDAI than with Honda. Honda used to be cheap also in order to get buyers. Thi sguy is on track, except people that have money (real millionaires, not wanna be look at me I have money) do NOT like to throw money around, or they would not have the money they do. That theory is for those that do not, but want you to think they do. I read a great book 5 years ago or so that said the #1 vehicle driven by people with a net worth of a million dollars was the F150.

I just hate the excuses that are used when talking about this car, "Yeah its a nice car... BUT... yeah it's a good value... BUT... yeah its a safe car... BUT... yeah the interior is good... BUT" If It freaking walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it's a DUCK!!! HYUNDAI BUILDS GOOD CARS!!!! Simple as that, who cares what they built 20 years ago or even 10 years ago... The simple truth is Hyundai builds cars that are on par or very close to the top Japanese imports but at cheaper prices. That's a good value to me and in this economy I will take a good value!

I think people are beginning to realize in today's economic climate, Decadent Spending is OUT and Value is IN. The Genesis is a vehicle that captures those sentiments quite nicely.

I found this review of the sedan. Seems to compare with the premium cars just fine. Hopefully the Coupe interior is pretty nice quality.
