Ahh, cool.. Do you guys get any good employee pricing or anything? I'm just hoping that dealers don't try to mark up the price over MSRP or anything crazy like that....not at all I love my Celica and I have way to much invested in it to trade it. I work at hyundai so I'll be getting exactly the one I want. If anyone around the DMV area is looking for the coupe let me know!!!!
That'd probably be a horrible mistake on Hyundai's part if they do. Not even the Camaro is expected to be marked up. Not enogh demand vs. supplyAhh, cool.. Yeah I think it would be a mistake on Hyundai dealer's if this happened but you never know, people do crazy things. But people do buy marked up cars. Some have been paying $25-30,000 OVER MSRP on the Nissan GT-R. The new Dodge Challengers have also been going for over MSRP. I think both of these are nice cars but sometimes the hype of a new car inflates the selling prices. If the Camaro doesn't follow suit I will be surprised.Don't think people would be buying a marked up car the way things are now.
lol... you can get a challenger around here for 3,000 off sticker. We've only sold a few Genesis Sedans for under sticker here, no mark ups though. So I expect to see the same thing on the Coupe. I have a friend that offered $80,000 for a new GT-R and they wouldn't take it, sales manager said there was a line of people offering in the mid 90's for one and a few over 100.Yeah I think it would be a mistake on Hyundai dealer's if this happened but you never know, people do crazy things. Try Fleetrates.com, they have couple for $80K and less for black one.lol... you can get a challenger around here for 3,000 off sticker. Yeah i guess it would depend on your locality on what the price of a car will do. I do know though that a dealer in my area had a Challenger on display at one of the car shows and it was 10,000 OVER MSRP. I'm thinking, "Nice car but not that nice,"lol... you can get a challenger around here for 3,000 off sticker. We've only sold a few Genesis Sedans for under sticker here, no mark ups though. Yeah the looks have bothered a lot of people about this car. If I had the money I would get one but in this economy I would never pay over MSRP because of the hype of the car. That GTR is ugly to me, I don't care how quick it is. I can't imagine paying over msrp for that car.
Sheesh I could never justify a $1,400 monthly payment for a car. That's a house payment for some people.Try Fleetrates.com, they have couple for $80K and less for black one.
If I can lease one to buy later, I'll definitely go with this car. To finance one with 80mo, it will cost me to pay $1,400 per month which is impossible to think or own.
Yeah a house or about 4 Genesis Coupes!80 grand in this economy is a forclosed house, screw a car.
That is very well possible, I wonder how soon they will be for sale after that. My thinking is they wont go on sale until after the media gets to do their test drive of the car which wont happen until the end of March and then it will be released to the public. Just speculation on my part but if you guys do get a couple in before hand that would be cool!So the owner said we'll be getting 2 in February..... I don't believe him. If they do come it'll be like the 27 or 28th
