So, my name is Eric, I am a car enthusiast like many others and recently became very fond of the new genesis coupe. Actually, i really like the sedan model too!!!!

I plan to get a coupe and most likely NOT mod it ( i am burnt out 700whp later on my evo)
would like to make it look nice, and ride nice. but not look rice.
who am i kidding. its to addictive.

I currently am in my senior year at college, and hoping to graduate in the next 4 months or so with my degree in Human Resources.

My car is a little project that I have worked very hard on over the past 2.5 years.

jrod might see me posting in the EVOm forums often because thats why whip haha

I currently drive a 2006 mitsubishi Evo 9

It got a fully built bottom end/ head/ gt37r turbo/ and every supporting mod to make it go fast.

I kinda lied in the other post when i said i take it to 10,000 rpms time after time. I actually have my limiter set at 9600 currently just for street use. ;)

@30 psi I made 640whp and that was with my old mbc that would drop off 5 psi at ANY boost level, and with a retune now i imagine at 37 psi i am mkaing easy over 700.

here are some videos of my car. just for fun.
my street fire account. Car videos, car photos, events and community on StreetFire.net

picture of my car

I freeze framed it at the point of largest fireball... Kinda neat if ya ask me!
video to show it!

video of my bang bang

Old video of my car on the dyno, making another 65/70 whp now.

Ran out of injector on this one, but again, its now 640 on E85. enjoy the vid

Horrible quality, but you will get the point ! lol

thanks for looking, and if you have any questions at all, regarding me or the car, throw em out there. would be glad to answer.

oh here is a picture of the motor. they are always fun!!

After seeing what you did with your Evo, can't wait to see what you do with the GenCoupe.

Absolutely man, with it being RWD i expect fire works from this car...

One can only hope that they have a solid rear end and transmission to deliver the power.

We already know the power will be there, but making the car handle it!!! in due time

Yeah this car having an IRS there could be weak areas here, I'm hoping not but you never know. Maybe they are using the same parts (drive axels, same differential, etc) that the V6 uses so that there is a little playing room to handle an increase in power. It would be great if the tranny's were as tough as some of the earlier Honda tranny's were. I have seen 400-500 HP on basically stock tranny's out of those cars. Granted they usually were hatchbacks and weighed about 1,000 less pounds. :)
