Hi guys,

I'm Sebastien from Quebec, Canada. I live in a town 1 hour North of Montreal. I actually own a 2006 Toyota Solara SE V6. I like it a lot. However, I wanted to have 2 cars for a near future...a winter beater + a real summer sport car. I was aiming used Gs or Zs but depending on the price and aftermarket support, the odds are good for me to buy a top of the line 3.8L Gen Coupe with the manual 6-speed.

I saw some preview pics of some Gen Coupe that will be presented at Sema next November. I like a lot the "Street concept" minus all the red stuff at the front !

Hey Sebas, thanks for joining our site. I don't think you will be disappointed with the 3.8l V6. I got to ride in the car with one of the Hyundai Reps in California and it was a blast. Smooth engine, good acceleration. We're hopefully going to be at the SEMA show for some pics so check in often for updates.

The v6 in the sedan was smooth and powerful but too quiet for me. How did the V6 coupe sound
and was it automatic or 6MT ??

I test drove a 2009 Dodge Challenger with a big V8 yesterday, and the sound was incredable.

Engine sound was very nice and it was not too loud. Obviously it won't sound like a v8 but it still sounded good. It was a 6 speed manual. The Challenger but a bit overpriced in my opinion. I've seen them going 10g over sticker just cuz its new. I don't think you'll have that problem with the Genesis Coupe.
