I purchased the February 2009 issue of Super Street magazine and as I was flipping through the pages and reading the articles I ran into yet another article about a fairly highly modified Gen Coupe; commonly known as the HKS Genesis Coupe. We have all seen the pictures and been to the HKS Gen Coupe link but this article goes into good detail on all the modifications that took place on this particular Gen Coupe build. The author makes a comment that kind of excited me to see in writing. I quote,

" For the first time Hyundai is offering up a real performance-oriented vehicle. Taking an already popular Mitsubishi 2.0L turbocharged 4B11 engine and mating it longitudinally to a RWD chassis looks like it might be the key to their underground success."

I found myself going on YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. and StreetFire.net - Home and searching for videos of the Mitsubishi Evo X and thinking to myself about all the "potential" the Gen Coupe holds. I cannot wait!!

I know the cylinder head won't be a 4B11 head, but does that eliminate the possibilities of "swapping" the head on the Theta motor with the head of the 4B11?? Because that may allow us to venture in to different territories if you know what I mean =)

Thanks for the tip Forced, I may have to venture to Walmart tonight and pick up a copy. It will be fun to see what can be done with this platform, I'm excited.

Dont support Walmart. Buy somewhere else! Please! I hate Walmart! They had a big hand in ruining this country. I go out of my way to not support them.

Ok ok ok, I went to the Safeway grocery store and bought it there... but I'm not buying my ammo anywhere else!! You can't beat a box of 100 FMJ 9mm rounds for $18 bucks! (might be more now I havn't bought some in a while)
