Hi,

My name is Maurice. I am also on SRTforums.com as mpbiv.

I currently own a 2005 Dodge Neon SRT-4 and up until a few weeks ago I also owned a 1988 Dodge Aries Turbo (2.2L Turbo swap from a Daytona).

My SRT-4 is Mopar Stage 3 equipped, and dyno'd 366whp and 388ft-lbs last March. It has also run a best of [email protected] with that setup. I haven't drag raced in a while and have mainly been focusing on autocross for the past year. I am in the midst of upgrading the turbo again with a 47lb Stage 3 turbo and External gated race manifold from Aaron @ Realtune.

I am definitely interested in the Genesis Coupe. I think it might be the next vehicle to occupy some empty space in my garage next to the SRT. I'd like to get the 2.0T with all the factory performance goodies and then modify it to get similar horespower and performance to my SRT-4.

Welcome to the site Mpboost, great group of guys here, I think it will be the place to be for your Genesis stuff, I like it better over the other sites because of the content they can get and because of the vendor support they seem to have. It should be fun.

Welcome aboard!

I have a few buddies with SRT4's. If you know anyone wanting to buy one my best friend has a white '05 with like 35,000 miles on it that he wants to sell. Just a heads up....

On a side note.... the Dodge Aries: I had one as a winter hoopty that I bought for like $350 like 8 years ago. Wasnt a bad car.... well kind of....... I drove sold it because it smelled like leaking gas inside. lol

Post pics of your rides when you get a chance.

Most of the recent pics I have are from different autocrosses:

Pic taken from my phone at work: I daily drive it (71k mi on the clock so far)
Nice ride looks like you are getting your money's worth out of your SRT4. The only issue I've had with my brother's SRT4 is the handling. It kind of just sits high and has a lot of body roll. The car also has a tendency to get oversteer easily at times.

That's a bummer about your Acura. I probably would have made the same trade if it was a straight across trade. The TL are just nicer all around.

Yeah i paid more for the acura a month and I loved it unfortuanately for the 13 months I had it only got driven about 8 months and thats not an exagggggeration. It was a 13 month car with barely 10,000 miles luckily I got all my money back because I had pictures of every check engine, gas cap, airbag, and video on my phone of my exhaust rattling and slightly smoking which I presented at the hearing against american honda and the were shocked and didnt know what to say. The moral of the story is if your under warranty if you think something is wrong its all about documentation and visual proof. With that being said I am blabbering to much to this reply ends HERE.
