LG's GD910 wrist phone in action
by Sean Cooper, posted Jan 7th 2009 at 12:13PM

LG's wrist set was on hand at the LG press conference and we managed a quick peek. We'll fill in all the blanks tomorrow once we can see it up close, but as a teaser, this thing looks sweet. It does, however, look a wee bit more refined in the interface and design departments compared to the peek we got last year.

Now you can look like Michael Knight talking into your watch.

Too bad you cant bluetooth your car to accept commands. lol
Jrod, you joke, but that technology may not be that far off. Hell I was watching the news this morning B4 work & saw that Netflicks will offer the capability to stream movies from your on-line que to your TV. Type the # of that movie in your que into a box that they provide & boom, you're watching your movie. You don't have to go to the movie store or wait for it to come in the mail. No stamps or gas used either.

If you think that's something, on the same news cast they showed a new Sony flat screen TV that's a 3mm thick & is bendable, yet don't break. I thought crazy, until I watched a movie tonight with Vin Diesel in it called Babylon A.D. that had a digital map in it that was folded up & looked like a paper map. He opens it up & drags his finger across it & it's interactive. Completely nuts, but not that far off I fear.

Some technology scares me though.

Reminds me of Enemy Of the State and being watched from above.
One of my friends is retired Air Force, he was in intelligence doing Satellite/Missle and other types of tracking. As a Senior Master Sergeant he saw some strange things and he actually said the new movie Eagle Eye was not too far off from what the military can do now.

Big Brother is watching..

I didn't see that movie, I heard the first half is good and the second half totally sucks. Its like wargames a computer is doing everything.

Yeah, but way better. I liked it & though the acting was pretty good. The action on the other hand was awesome...
