I am a member of the SRTforums and they have this 20+ page thread about the Genesis Coupe. Its kind of funny. In the begining many of the SRT-4 owners are saying, "It's still a Hyundai"... and some other owners would say something to the effect of, "Dude you know you are just driving a glorified Neon right?" lol

So anyways as the thread goes on it gets a little better, I think most realize what a great car this will be. I have tried to impart some of my limited knowledge of the car to the group. If you got some time to kill take a read:

That thread is longer and has more posts than quite a few dedicated genesis sites I've seen.

^^ I agree... it seems that towards the end more people were liking the Coupe than not. The few haters seemed like ignorant guys... afterall they were ranking on the Coupe and they basically drive a Neon with a hot engine in it. They probably don't even realize that the SRT4 and Genesis Coupe share the same World engine block.

those haters are just envious is all. They got 4 doors when they really want two. They got an econobox Sedan and the Coupe is well a sports coupe. They have FWD and the Coupe has RWD. They drive basically a Neon.. and the Coupe is new from the ground up sports car with benchmarks the likes of the BMW M3 and Infiniti G37. The two cars are not even the same, its dumb to compare the two as they are different types of vehicles.

P.P.S. I took the time to read the entire thread from the SRT forums. They are a little harsh & narrow minded even for my tastes. I won't put up with any of that shit over here if they come aboard. And, ILLJIM69 doesn't have a chance of getting accepted into this forum, so thank god he hates Hyundai & the Genesis, because we don't need his kind.

LOL Tufast that was some funny stuff there. That Audi forum GCoupe thread has got to be one of the oldest threads I've seen as well as one of the longest and you're right, mostly good comments. The SRT forums on the other hand have really gone down hill in the past few years. I've been a lurker since '04 and a member since '07. There are some cool guys that I've met on there and at the same time a bunch of punks that seem to talk crap just to talk crap.
