Well, I currently drive a 2006 Cobalt SS Supercharged. I've done bolt ons and some custom intake manifold work. I've done a ton of cooling mods. I'm heavily involved with new R&D for the 2.0 Ecoted LSJ engine in my car. I love working on it as it's super easy. I've gone [email protected] on slicks that were 26x10.5x16. Honestly they were too big. I got some new things going on for next season for it.

But I joined the forums since I'm super excited about the 2.0 turbo Genesis coupe coming out. I think it has a ton of potential. I look forward to test driving one as soon as they hit dealerships, and if the trade up is right, I'll be driving a genesis coupe.

Anyways, just thought I would say hello and get excited with everyone about the Genesis coupe!:clap:

Is your Cobalt the one that features the stock launch control? You just spanked that Neon off the line, I'm thinking he was asleep at the line?

Dude, I've heard of some fast Cobalt SS cars, but have yet to see one haul like that. Tight car, makes me want my GenCoupe that much worse.

No, mine doesn't have launch control. That was just driving and of course, slicks. Yea, that neon SRT-4 was telling his buddies that he was going to try to beat me, haha. That was far from happening.

If I get a gencoupe, I'll be sure to bring lots of R&D to the forums and strive to make it fast! I'm all about going fast, don't really care to much about visual mods.

Yeah, speaking from my experience of drag racing SRT-4s, it's hard to launch them just right. I oughta give slicks a try.
