I was surfing the threads of another Genesis forum that I'm a member of which happens to be more oriented toward the sedan crowd. Anyways, I came across a thread entitiled "What did/are you trading in on your Genesis?" & man the cars that were given up to switch to the Genesis. I mean, I knew people were switching from more prestigous brands on occasion, but hadn't had the opportunity to read individual replys regarding their decision to go Hyundai. Bottom line, people going for the Genesis are coming from ALL varying types of vehicles & hiearchy, from SRT4s to 750iLs & everything in between.

That's pretty fascinating reading, I had no idea people looked at it as "trading up" to go from a Bimmer to a Genesis. I mean I know the Genesis is a fantastic car, but it appears the Hyundai stigma is wearing off...
