It's a expierience! I'm still tired from the first day. The show is so much bigger than you'd expect, its even bigger than I thought it would be from seeing the outside yesterday. There's a ton of people here too not much room to even walk.

Rhys wants to have the car in competition but it's up to Hyundai and at this point they haven't decided yet.

Yeah its too bad that Hyundai isn't running with this car. Rhys wants to race it and the PR guys at Hyundai want it to be raced but there are some forces in Hyundai that are resistant to the idea.

I'm sure they want to wait for the new year and fresh series. I throughly expect to see gen coupes in forumla drift and other events. I know i plan to take the one i get to time attacks on the east coast.

Sponsor or no sponsor........I am buying the car and shoot for Mod Class at Redline Time Attach next year. Not a pro level, but its for fun.
Since I am not getting anything from Hyundai buying everything from my own pocket, there is nothing holding me heading anywhere.
Corp. decision is always slow..............by the time Hyundai want to do something, it will be end of season.
Anyway, surely hope Rhys will run at Unlimited Class or seeing his car at Pike's Peak Hill Climb as always done by Rod and Rhys Millen. Remember Scoupe Turbo by Rod Millen? Awesome!

Exactly PowerAXEL, Hyundai isn't gonna finalize any sponsership until this winter in prep for 2009 season. I am actually hoping to pick up a local hyundai dealership sponser on my car but since I'll be traveling to events, it may not be as lucrative an option for them. Have to wait and see. Either case, i'd expect Rhys to be in that car sometime in '09.

Yeah my thoughts also.
Well, it's been kind of a cult following for a while, but not anywhere near honda, nissan, toyota, etc. But things will change, oh YES, things will change....

I hope so that would be pretty cool. We started an online petition to maybe help persuade Hyundai to sponsor Rhys' car so who knows what will happen.
