This gift has gives him the advantage to be productive in both American and Japanese drift cultures. He currently resides in Japan with his wife and his four year old son in a house near the Air Force Base where he grew up. Ever since Robbie was a child, he has been interested in cars, his love of cars eventually led him to discover drifting, which he has been contributing to for over ten years. His race career has given him much experience with many different cars and gives him a variety of knowledge about cars. Although he is a clean drifter, when it comes to competition he becomes aggressive and can push his competitors to their limit.
In Japan, he has been on Ikaten (a Japanese TV Show), Option videos, Hot Version AE86 video, Drift Tengoku, Battle Magazine and Autoworks, just to mention a few. His short time in America has gotten him coverage in places such as G4TV, The Discovery Channel, Option Video, ESPN2, Driftzone, Driftlive, and more than a handful of online outlets. Some of Robbie’s career highlights include placing first at a Battle Magazine single drift event at Nikko Circuit, first and third at another competition, Battle Magazine Championship Drift round finishing best of six. In 2005, at Formula D in New Jersey, Robbie passed Sam Hubinette in his Mopar Viper while driving the K-style “team orange” K truck. Recently, his drift team is tied for 1st place in the team drift competition sponsored by Champ car.
