Ok so I read today that the nominations up for Rock N Roll hall of fame induction this year are?
Metallica, Run-D.M.C., the Stooges, Jeff Beck, War, Chic, doo-*** group Little Anthony and the Imperials, pioneering rockabilly singer Wanda Jackson (the “Queen of Rockabilly”) and soul singer-songwriter Bobby Womack.
Ok Metallica and Jeff beck I understand, but War (they have some good POP songs, "Lowrider") Chic "Le freak" and these others. Come on!
I want to know who picks who gets nominated, how can you put these bands with very few hits and not even rock n roll to get inducted to the ROCK N ROLL halle of fame. There are bands that have been around for way longer than Metallica that aren't in it. Where is the love for Rush, Journey, Chicago, Genesis, Yes, Stevie Ray Vaughan to name a few!
Thats just my 2 cents about this, the RRHF is a total sham!
