It's 2:45 and we're on day 2 of the SEMA show. I'm currently in front of the Magnaflow Exhibit typing this. I can see Mario Andredi signing autographs. What a nice guy. After I'm done with this post I may try to get one.
So the day actually started out pretty uneventful. We woke up a little late and didn't get out of the Hotel until about 9 AM. Which I guess is not that late but we couldn't park in the convention center parking because it was already full. So that cost us an extra $10 to park. What a rip off, ohwell. We also missed the morning press conference and the FREE breakfast. We did however goto the Sears Craftsman Press Conference at noon and got a FREE lunch. I'm starting to see that most of the media breakfasts and lunches are just for people to come and eat. Some of the people I saw just got food and left. Why was Genesisforums.org there? Well of course we were there to cover the new cordless impact hammer tool!! Come on, how can you not get excited about an impact hammer.
At least we stayed for the whole press conference.
Anyhoo, we did try and go back to the Hyundai booth and see if we could catch any of the HKS guys and get more details on their car but no dice. We will keep trying of course.
Thanks to everyone who is reading these updates. More pics to come as well. We'll have a general SEMA pic post sometime tonight.
Thanks,
ss
