[Accord2Genesis]

Heres the 01 Accord Coupe I've loved so dearly over the years (minus the garbage automatic tranny, blah, I know, no choice in that matter though). The s2000 in the pic is part of my club in central Jersey, Redline Performance. It is a 505rwhp turbo s2k with a GT35R turbo.

Yeah, that's a sweet ass Accord. And 505whp is something in a car as light as a S2000.

I agree with everyone that's a sweet Accord, if it was mine I'd have a hard time parting with it. The s2k is pretty sweet too, and gotta be a scarey ride with 500+ hp.

Thanks so much for the comments all! I actually used to just compete with it in car shows and moreso "sound offs" with my system in the accord. For anyone who knows anything about car audio competitions, my highest recorded was 143dB which is pretty awesome for 1 15" subwoofer in a trunk car. It's been very good to me, and theres a history behind the car (it was my Aunt's who passed away from breast cancer, hence the plates with flowers on them for breast cancer awareness). I really don't want to get rid of it, hopefully I can keep this, my parents can have their 95 sentra (which runs like a friggin dream) and my dad and I can work on the Gen-coupe together once I'm out of pharmacy school in 2 years!

The highest I've been tested was at 138db. That was when I was 20yrs younger & entered stereo competitions. These days I just like a good sounding stereo, not interested in entering car shows, stereo comps, etc....I like car that turns heads by audio, looks, & performance..

138dB is still a very respectable number. I hear ya though, in my gen-coupe all I want is a nice component set and a good amplifier to power it with and I'm happy. More for performance than anything now!
