I think our articles & sub-forum categories is pretty good. I would like to see more technical articles, but we have everything that is available at this point. Although, once the coupe is released, I think we will see a lot more data. I for one will be downloading info along with my own DIY work with details & pics.

Always love the contests, bring 'em on, by the way when you gonna give that poster away? Not that I need it, already got one of the silver full size posters framed on my bedroom wall at the end of my bed. It's the last thiing I see when I go to sleep & the first thing I see when I wake up. Been staring at that thing for several months now just imagining all my mods.

Build your car your way.

This might be a little far fetched because I don't know how far your skilz extend sabba, but what's the chance you could devise a build your GenCoupe thread.:dunno: Kinda like a mix between building your car at Hyundai.com & video game after market parts purchases. Have a short (3-4) selection of front & rear bumpers, front & rear spoilers/splitters, side skirts, hoods, larger selection of wheels, alow for drop & window tint, & a palet of paint choices, esp factory colors. That way we could devise our car the way we think we want it to look & actually see if it looks good before doing the mods.:jump:

I made something like that when I worked at Warmoth Guitars.com, where you could pick your wood for the guitar and then the paint and neck style etc. It is not an easy or quick project it took about 3 months with me and a full time programmer. In the real job world that typr of project would fetch about 30k on up depending on what is wanted. It would be cool but not sure i want to take on something that big.
Pleeeease, just do it as a spare time adventure so to speak. Let it take 6mos-1yr, what ever, no rush. I would worship you as a programming god:groupbow:& would call you Sir Lord Calvert from here on out:jump:

The website overall seams "cluttered". The font should be a bit bigger. When I first come in here, I had to look deeply just to find the forums!
+1....on the font, hard to read at times. But, I think the layout is ok, colors & back grounds are great, home page is fine, & tool bar for new posts, forums, & searches is one of the better ones I've used.

Well you already have Tufast and Myself here.... what more can you ask for?

:dunno:..maybe bigger ban stick?:jump:

Back on topic, the 1st thing that attracted me to the site was the layout, colors, concept cars at the heading. I just liked the way the home page looked....
Keep in mind that there is a lot more traffic on these sites now than when I 1st started visiting.
Now that I think about it, I was surfing the internet for info even B4 the 1st Genesis site was up & running.

lol i just meant never discount anything in life, generally speaking, not that we'd actually have a Coupe to give away! But wouldn't that be cool?? :shifting:
Damn & I was so expecting you guys to step up.:flame:jkg:rofl:

So we are going to see bigger font in the near future right?:dunno:

Sorry to resurrect an older thread, but ive been spoiled over at myspecv.com and think it would be great to have a similar setup as theirs as far as functionality...this color scheme is great and the content is pretty great but it is still hard to navigate...and a chatbox would be great to keep people from having to post just to chat....at least thats my .02
Thanks Fry for the comment & we don't mind thread resurrection. I would actually prefer that over a bunch of duplicate threads about the same thing. Part of the reason I stickied this thread yesterday was to get it to appear up top so people could make ongoing recommendations that we could consider to improve this forum. Thanks again for your input.

Hahaha, if you need bigger font, Tufast, either put on your glasses or use the windows built in Magnifying glass

Also you can hold down the CTRL key while using the mouse scroll wheel to zoom in and out :jester:
I'll just put on my damn glasses....Now if I could just find them...:rolleye:

Its not so much a lack of traffic there are plenty of visitors that come on here just they look and don't post for whatever reason.
+1..........there is alot of visitors, several members & just a few posters :dunno:

If I quit my job & did nothing but gather info to post on this site, I feel it would still not suffice in keeping the site active. Its going to take others contributing, so post your pics, DIYs, adventures, new info, anything......
