What does everyone do for a living?

Unemployed Software Engineer here. Graduated Engineering in Canada 2 years ago but had to take care of family stuff in the U.S. Hopefully when i get back in the next year I will get a job in my field.

Usagi you are not kidding here... the Utility I work for right now is owned by a City and the utility gets most of its revenue from the rate payers (the power, water and sewing bills). It's not affected as much by taxes either, like devaluing property tax etc... so I'm in a good spot here.

Ya'll should know what I do by now, but just in case you don't, I'm a lowly svc advisor. With the car industry going down the tubes, it can be a little bit of scarry at times regarding my job. Hopefully if anything ever happens, I can use all the environmental science education I've got.

P.S. sabbasaun, I was thinking that your should move this thread out of the Genesis discussions to the general topic discussions...

I'm about to start a job working for Northwest/Delta Airlines at the MSP airport as a junior tech working for a company they contract out to for the maintenance of all the the motorized ground equipment used at the airport. (Tugs, belt loaders, ect.) Prior to this job, I was a paint tech. at one of the largest privately owned auto body shops in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. So if anyone has any questions related to paint or body work, I'm probably the guy to ask here. haha

EDIT: I just noticed ENOST is also a collision tech (I would assume?) So I'm sure he could provide plenty of info on the subject as well.

Awesome so far sounds like a nice diverse skilled group of people!

Senior Web Developer for a financial investment company. I heard they will be laying off 20% of their work force, so I'm hoping I'll still have a job in the coming weeks.
