I have wireless CarPlay in my other vehicles and I love it and am hooked on it because it's convenient not to have to take my phone out of my pocket every time I get in and out of my car. It's a big deal because I dropped all of my SiriusXM subscriptions and now use internet SXM exclusively which is a lot cheaper.

My current Genesis G80 obviously does not have wireless CarPlay. After doing a bit of research I decided to try one of the adapters, specifically the Carlinkit 3.0 Wireless CarPlay Adapter. It was easy to set up, only cost $90, and if it turns out to be crappy, I can return it. I'll let you folks know how it turns out and if you've tried something similar, let us know how it went for you.

I can't comment on the other manufactures, but I can confirm that the Carlinkit 3.0 is working fine with my car until now. It was also working fine in my 2016 VW GTI where I ran it for 2 months before getting my genesis.

The whole cable business is a pain. That carlinkit adapter looks just like what I was looking for. My order is in.
