removing parachute

so i got real brave and cut the rear bumper to remove the parachute effect, still got more work to do on it but here is what i got so far..

it does feel quicker from 30 MPH to 90 MPH but, could be just my imagination. honestly i don't know,
if some one is thinking about doing this please go to the track and get some time slips then go back to the track after cutting a big hole in your new car! and see if your ET has improved.

i agree the black looks good, but in person it's almost invisable and you can see inside the hole at all the bracing and underbody edges. looking into differant kinds of mesh..

im also keeping an eye on MPG, less drag more MPG however i think the stock muffler was filling that cavity behind the bumper so i think MPG will go up but, only becuse i have been driving around with different
mufflers that do not fill that cavity. will see..
